This bike came in for what we expected to be just a double check before a big ride coming up, as it was just tuned up elsewhere in December. We discovered the rear tire casing was bad and likely going to fail or surely get worse. Brake cables were sloppy. Rear derailleur hanger was bent. Rear tire on backwards. Brake pads not adjusted properly. Both derailleurs needed adjustment. Chainrings are worn (will address that on next visit when they arrive). It is so important to have a professional check your bike over regularly and especially before big events.
